Nubemsystems is a technology company founded in 2002 in Barcelona, specialising in agentic AI, bespoke software development, cloud solutions and IT services for businesses. With more than 20 years of experience and over 150 satisfied clients, we combine a solid foundation in managed IT with our own capability to develop next-generation AI products.
Our history
Nubemsystems was founded in June 2002 by David Anguera Ponsa, with a single conviction: that well-implemented technology could positively transform the day-to-day life of companies and the people who work in them. The beginnings were modest — IT support for local businesses, helpdesk, infrastructure management — but a commitment to quality and closeness to the client allowed the company to grow solidly and steadily over more than two decades.
Nubemsystems was born from a simple conviction: technology should be at the service of people and of the organisations that serve them. From our early years providing IT support to businesses in the Barcelona metropolitan area, we have grown to become a trusted technology partner for clients in sectors as diverse as hospitality, logistics, healthcare and professional services.
Today, the core of our activity is agentic AI: the design and implementation of autonomous AI agents that integrate into organisations' existing systems to automate processes, make decisions and resolve business needs without interruption. It is the most advanced frontier of applied artificial intelligence, and it is what our own products do: NubemClaw, NubemGenesis, NubemFlow and NubemPass.
We are headquartered in La Palma de Cervelló (Barcelona) with a presence in Madrid. We work with companies across Spain and Europe that are looking not just to adopt AI, but to integrate it in a way that generates real, measurable value.

The team
David Anguera Ponsa
Founder, CEO and CIO of Nubemsystems
David Anguera Ponsa is the founder and CEO of Nubemsystems, a Barcelona-based technology company specialising in agentic AI and IT services for the hospitality industry and businesses.
His professional career is inseparable from the history of hotel technology in Spain. For more than two decades, David has led the implementation and management of technology systems in leading hotel establishments, including hotels from the Marriott, Hilton and Praktik Hotels chains. This first-hand experience, from PMS to network infrastructure and from helpdesk to incident management, is what sets Nubemsystems apart from other technology providers: "we don't design solutions for the hospitality sector from the outside, but from a deep, lived understanding of how it works".
In 2002 he founded Nubemsystems with the aim of giving businesses of any size access to an expert, agile technology partner committed to the operational continuity of its clients. Over more than twenty years, he has built a company headquartered in Barcelona with a presence in Madrid, a specialised team and a suite of proprietary products that reflect his vision for the future of agentic AI applied to businesses.
David is a regular speaker on AI and innovation in hospitality, including his participation in the Barcelona Tech Tourism Cluster, the Facultat de Turisme of the Universitat de Girona and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.
